I use it for so many different things in life!
I mainly use it for my business but you can also use it to make cards, invitations and so much more!

Depending on what plan you go with you have the option to use color pallets already created in Canva. If you have the Pro Plan you can upload your own color pallets that are designed for your brand.
Photo Library
Both the free plan & pro plan have a great selection of photos & images for you to use in your creations. The pro plan unlocks more images & photos.
Font Styles Combined
Both the Pro plan & free plan have fonts that work well together ready for you to use by Canva. If you have the Pro Plan you can upload your favorite fonts that you use.
Social Media & More...
Not only is Canva great for creating Pins for Pinterest but you can create so much more.... Like Facebook Banner, Facebook Posts, Instagram Stories, Instagram Reels, eBooks, Printables, stickers, cards, etc....
Canva Free vs Canva Pro
I'm going to break down the differences between the Canva Free plan vs The Canva Pro plan. But my advice is to start with the Free plan first to see if will work for your business needs! Down the road if you like what you see and want to upgrade everything you have already created in Canva will still be there. Win! Win!
Photos
Instead of using other software to find pictures, images, or videos Canva offers all of them; and not just a few, A LOT to choose from.
Canva Free offers over 4m videos & photos for you to browse through and upload a certain amount of your own.
Canva Pro allows you to have complete access to over 40m videos, icons, images, & photos. You can also upload your own.
Fonts
I love fonts and sometimes I can get fixated on trying to find just the right combo. With Canva they actually have a feature with both plans that has already paired popular fonts together for you.
Canva Free gives you access to a limited amount of fonts.
Canva Pro unlocks the entire font library and also allows you to upload your favorites!
Color Pallet
Canva Free has a lot of colors to choose from and like the fonts they have paired colors that work well together, but the color pallets are limited.
Canva Pro unlocks all the colors and also allows for you to create a "brand kit" that you can upload your logo, fonts, colors that match your brand or business!
Templates
Like I said earlier if you struggle with the designing aspect Canva has you covered with either plan.
Canva Free offers you over 5000 ready to go templates! All you have to do is change wording, fonts and colors if you wish!
Canva Pro you have the entire template library opened up to you. It has around 20,000 template designs!
Organizing
This is a big one for me. When I first started in Canva Free I didn't have any "folders" to save my designs to, I honestly didn't know you could.
If you are using Canva for different social media content like Facebook, Instagram & Pinterest it is so much easier to have a folder for each one to hold your designs.
Canva Free only gives you 2 folders to create.
Canva Pro has unlimited folders for you to create & keep organized.
Pricing
Canva Free is Free, it never changes!
Canva Pro if you pay monthly is $12.95 a month or billed yearly is $9.95 which comes to about $119.
